The Hollow Disk / Eccentric Disk pump replaces many gear and progressive cavity pump applications with extremely low maintenance and ongoing costs.
These type of pumps are very popular pump in Europe and have replaced many Mono style progressive cavity pump applications due to their competitive price and the extremely low level of maintenance and spare parts that are required. These pumps are so reliable and heavy duty that they are also used in many API applications. (Available with compliance to API 676 requirements!).
Pumps can dry run for limited periods and are available at competitive prices in 316 stainless steel and duplex stainless steel construction.
This pump is a great alternative to a Mono style PC pump and/or gear pump and has much lower ongoing costs!

Common pumped liquids include the following:
Oil and Gas, Biofuels, Oils, Fuels, Acids, Solvents, Waste Oils, Sewage, Paints, Inks, Glues, Fibres in suspension, Sludge, Mud, Bilge water, Asphalt, Emulsions, Vegetable & Animal oils, Syrups & Molasses, Tallow, Chocolate etc.

M SERIES
The hollow disk M series, during its rotary-oscillating motion, causes a vacuum sucking the fluid inside the pump; in the meantime it pushes the fluid already present in the chamber to the downstream pipe. Because of their particular features, 3P Prinz hollow disk pumps are recommended for pumping liquids with low, medium, high or very high viscosity even in presence of moderate contents of solid particles in suspension.
D Series
These pumps, with two impellers, allow a reduced size of the piping, valves, fittings etc. while keeping an high flow rate: they create a continuous flow in the piping, avoiding vibrations and shaking of the structure.
The electrical motor is generally coupled directly to the pump in which, into its casing, an oil filled reduction gear is assembled.
The hollow disk D series, during its rotary-oscillating motion, causes a vacuum sucking the fluid inside the pump; in the meantime it pushes the fluid already present in the chamber to the downstream pipe. Because of their particular features, 3P Prinz hollow disk pumps are indicated for pumping liquids with low, medium, high or very high viscosity even in presence of moderate contents of solid particles in suspension.
CN SERIES
The CN Series Rotary Hollow Disk Pumps are suitable for Loading/Unloading of Tanks for Tankers, Bowsers, Train Wagon Tankers etc. For the purpose of having the most compact dimensions and highest capacities, the CN Series Pumps are provided with 2 Pumping Chambers having 1 Hollow Disk each: the impeller (Hollow Disk), during its rotary-oscillating motion, adheres to the internal peripheral surface of the pump body and causes a vacuum sucking the fluid inside the pump; in the meantime it pushes the fluid already present in the chamber to the downstream pipe. Because of their particular features, 3P Prinz Hollow Disk Pumps are recommended for pumping liquids with Low, Medium, High or Very High Viscosity even in presence of moderate contents of Solid Particles in suspension (dirty fluids). Their Perfect Reversibility allows them to Load and Unload Fluids always at the highest performance. By adjusting the Rotating Speed, the same CN Series Pump can transport fluids having completely different viscosity. The Design and the Operating Principle of the Series CN Pumps allows them to reach and Outstanding Operating Life, a high Versatility for many types of fluids and Flow Rates higher compared to other types of Pumps for Loading/Unloading in Vehicle Tankers, however maintaining the same Weights and Dimensions.
The CN Series Pumps can be provided with several types of connections commonly used in Tankers, Bowsers, Train Wagon Tankers, including the Hydraulic Motor connections.
DN-CN-MN SERIES
These pumps, with single or double impeller are characterized by external bearings and special technical and patented innovations, in order to make them more performing in areas with special installation requirements. Are suitable for the transfer of fluids even at very high viscosity containing small amounts of suspended solids. Generally DN-CN-MN pumps series are supplied with motor or moto-variator and mounted on a suitable skid.
The hollow disk DN-CN-MN series, during its rotary-oscillating motion, causes a vacuum sucking the fluid inside the pump; in the meantime it pushes the fluid already present in the chamber to the supply pipe. Because of their particular features, 3P Prinz hollow disk pumps are recommended for pumping liquids with low, medium, high or very high viscosity even in presence of moderate contents of solid particles in suspension.
